Soul-stirring, unconventional, and powerful is the perfect description of singer, songwriter, and bandleader, Frankie Parker. Frankie is one of the most sought-after artists in Chicagoland- an artist who lives to set the stage afire with her ‘in-your-face’ approach and vocal uniqueness. Parker began singing at the tender age of five and later studied vocal performance at Columbia College-Chicago.
Frankie has graced such venues as The House of Blues, The Grand Ole’ Opry, and United Center. In 2014, Frankie Parker released her Freshmen project, “Breezy”, of which her single, “Hot Pot of Grits” was featured in the soundtrack for independently released film, “Friends, Family and Lovers”. For the past seven years, Frankie, along with her band, The Gentlemen featuring the Just-Us League, have maintained a monthly residency at The Bassment, a top live performance venue in Chicago’s west loop.
Parker is currently working on her Sophomore Project, “Breathe, Frankie Parker”.
